A Blog after a long time & what happened in that period?!?!

A BLOG AFTER A LONG TIME The first question for all!: Why no blogs for 31 days? Answer: If you've read my previous blogs, you'd know that My school had re-opened and the Annual exams were going on! This made me stop blogs for a while even though I had little spare time. Now, time for the second topic!!! What happened when I was offline on blogger?: Answer: A lot of things in the space book had changed. Yes, due to Russia[Putin]- Ukraine war . These are the changes: One-Web had changed the launching rocket from the 55-year-old rocket to American broom stick[Falcon-9] Exo-Mars launch delayed as Russia is wasting money on war & not cooperating properly with ESA[ European space agency] Most importantly, the ISS. The proper cooperation between countries is gone with Russia. Fun fact: Elon Challenged Putin for Kung fu. Other interesting things that happened: SLS rollout Fully stacked Starship's cryogenic proof test Few telescope launches  Also, the March equinox just happ...

The winter sky on 18th February! You would have already seen the blog published earlier yesterday If not, this is the link : When I was writing classwork, I suddenly remembered that today is Friday, & tomorrow my Astronomy course ends. But, it was just 4 in the evening. It is my game time. Then, the time passed & it was 8.30! I went to the terrace & started to stargaze. The main event: First, I just took the phone & went to the terrace. But, suddenly, Great Grandfather came to Terrace. But, I didn't take my telescope to the roof. I came running down & assembled it. I showed the moon with a 45x eyepiece as well as 90x. They both enjoyed watching it. They went down as it was 9.15 PM. Then, I switched off all the lights & kept the camera settings as: 16-second exposure, 10-second timer, ISO as 1600, WB as 6200K. I used Realme  phone. Target: My primary target was Orion as it was my Astronomy class's assignment. But, It was busy seeing the moon. I kept the...

Snow moon

Snow Moon February's full moon is also known as the Snow Moon. Every full moon has its special name. February's one is the snow moon. Why snow moon? Simple! Since winter is going on and it is snowing in most parts of the earth.  More on this: Sunday, 13th of Feb/2022.  I came to my grandparent's place, my friend Nishanth had also come there. I was pleasantly surprised when I came to know that he was also an astronomy buff! I went down to bring my Astromaster 70AZ. Meanwhile, he too joined me.  So, we started to stargaze. First, we had a gorgeous view of the moon. We spent about a quarter of an hour looking at its beauty! Then, I gave him an idea to look at the winter constellations, like Orion, Taurus. But, they were about to reach the zenith. It is tough to navigate. Then, We had an idea to look at Sirius, the dog star. Since this is February, it is also a good time to look at these stars. We spotted Sirius. Just near to it, there was Sirius B. The dense object, White dw...

History of JAMES WEBB: After the launch of the Hubble space telescope(HST), engineers thought of building a more powerful space telescope than Hubble. This new idea started in 1996. Then, after a lot of funding issues, the construction of James Webb began. Companies participating in James Webb mission : NASA, ESA(European Space Agency), CSA(Canadian Space agency) & STSI (Space telescope Science Institute) are the companies   responsible for James Webb . STSI gave the IDEA of JWST. THIS COMPANY HELPS TO OPERATE HST also . LOCATION OF JWST: image credit: NASA Unlike HST, JWST will be located in the LAGRANGE point 2 of earth.
