The sky of 18th February!

 The winter sky on 18th February! You would have already seen the blog published earlier yesterday If not, this is the link : When I was writing classwork, I suddenly remembered that today is Friday, & tomorrow my Astronomy course ends. But, it was just 4 in the evening. It is my game time. Then, the time passed & it was 8.30! I went to the terrace & started to stargaze. The main event: First, I just took the phone & went to the terrace. But, suddenly, Great Grandfather came to Terrace. But, I didn't take my telescope to the roof. I came running down & assembled it. I showed the moon with a 45x eyepiece as well as 90x. They both enjoyed watching it. They went down as it was 9.15 PM. Then, I switched off all the lights & kept the camera settings as: 16-second exposure, 10-second timer, ISO as 1600, WB as 6200K. I used Realme  phone. Snow moon

Snow Moon February's full moon is also known as the Snow Moon. Every full moon has its special name. February's one is the snow moon. Why snow moon? Simple! Since winter is going on and it is snowing in most parts of the earth.  More on this: Sunday, 13th of Feb/2022.  I came to my grandparent's place, my friend Nishanth had also come there. I was pleasantly surprised when I came to know that he was also an astronomy buff! I went down to bring my Astromaster 70AZ. Meanwhile, he too joined me.  So, we started to stargaze. First, we had a gorgeous view of the moon. We spent about a quarter of an hour looking at its beauty! Then, I gave him an idea to look at the winter constellations, like Orion, Taurus. But, they were about to reach the zenith. It is tough to navigate. Then, We had an idea to look at Sirius, the dog star. Since this is February, it is also a good time to look at these stars.
