 Hello all! Nice meeting you back again! As always, please read till the end. If you haven't read the last two parts of this series, here is the link: Part 1, Part 2.

 Now let us continue from the letter "N".

N=

Nadir=Opposite of the zenith, from the position of Astronomer
NASA= US's government's space organization, National Aeronautics & Space Administration
Nebula= A gas cloud where stars form
Neutron star= If a star that went supernova was lighter, it will become a neutron star
New moon= The phase of the moon when it is fully black[no light reflecting]
North star= Polaris, it indicates 0 degrees of north
Nova= Explosions of stars
Nuclear fission= Heavier nucleus turns into a lighter one
Nuclear fusion=A combustion of Hydrogen atoms to form heat & light

O=

Observatory= Places where we observe the sky
Occultation= When a body is being hidden by another
Oort cloud= A large group of chunks that orbit the sun
Opposition= When two bodies are exactly in the opposite sides of the sky
Orbit= A path in which an object circles a larger body
Orbital eccentricity= Measurements of the orbit with the shape of the circle
Orbital inclination=Angle of a body in which they orbit
Outer planets= Planets that are after the asteroid belt

P=

Parallax= The change of two object view in different places
Parsec= 3.26 LY is a parsec
Partial eclipse= An eclipse that doesn't cover fully
Penumbra= Lighter shadow of an eclipse
Perigee= Lowest distance in an orbit of a manmade object
Perihelion= Lowest distance in an orbit of a natural body
Phase= Illuminations of light from an object
Photon= The particle that makes light
Photosphere=Layer in star after the surface that sends heat & light into space
Planet= A body that is spherical & orbits with its own gravity
Planetary nebula= When smaller stars run out of gas, they envelope
Plasma= A state of material
Pluto= A dwarf planet
Pole star= Another name of north star
Probe= A manmade object that travels through space to get more data
Proto-planet=Young planet
Proto-planetary disk= Once, a star forms, a large amount of gas will be orbiting to get inside the star
Proto-star= Young star
Pulsar= A neutron star that rotates super fast & emits a lot of radiation

Q=

Quarter Moon= 1/2 phase of the moon & occurs after 6-8 days after new moon
Quasar=Extremely luminous star
Quasi star= A star that has a black hole inside it & the radiation from the black hole provides energy
Quasi=Radiation source

R=

Radiation= Giving energy in the form of the electromagnetic wavelength
Radio= Transformation of energy in waves
Red giant= 1. A large star that is red due to temperature, 2. A small star becomes big when gas runs out
Redshift=Light from the object moves toward the red spectrum due to objects in its way or Distance
Reflector telescope=Once the light enters the telescope, it is reflected to reach the eyepiece
Refractor telescope=Uses lens to create images
Retrograde motion=Reverse moment of an object in the sky
Revolve=Move on an axis & orbit something
Ring galaxy= The galaxy that has ring shape
Rings= Object that has a shape like a ring & surrounds a planet
Roche limit= An invisible ring that rips apart an object when it comes to close
Rotation= Causes day & night process.

Hope you liked it.
